Snorkelling Qualifications for BSAC Divers

BSAC members who have completed various levels of BSAC diver training may be given an appropriate BSAC snorkelling qualification, in accordance with the following schedule. This grant of snorkelling qualifications may be made by branch Diving officers and should be signed up in a BSAC Snorkelling qualification Book, obtainable from the BSAC mailshop at Club HQ.

BSAC Novice Diver/ Novice II, Club Diver, Ocean Diver > BSAC Basic/Snorkel Diver

BSAC Sports Diver > BSAC Open Water Snorkel Diver

BSAC Dive Leader > BSAC Advanced Snorkel Diver

BSAC Advanced Diver > BSAC Advanced Snorkel Diver

Snorkel Dive Marshal can only be achieved by completing the required training under the direction of a BSAC Advanced Snorkel Instructor.
