BSAC Snorkel Lifesaver Awards

Snorkel Lifesaver

This first lifesaver course is available to BSAC members who are qualified Snorkel Divers.  The course is run in-branch and the training can be provided by any qualified BSAC Snorkel Instructor who is an approved Snorkel Lifesaver Instructor. It will train snorkel members basic lifesaving skills in the swimming pool environment.   No age limit is imposed but younger students should be confident in the water.

Advanced Snorkel Lifesaver

This is the second course in the series of lifesaving awards.  It is conducted in the open water and is available to BSAC snorkel members who are qualified Ocean Snorkel Divers and have gained the Snorkel Lifesaver award.
